Fathers of faith and the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, alongside the Cross River State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, have revealed that arrangements are in top gear to host an estimated 900,000 Christian worshippers for a four-day gospel crusade in Calabar.
The crusade, organised under the banner of Christ for All Nations, will feature international evangelist, Daniel Kolenda.
It is scheduled to hold from November 12 to 15, 2026, at a yet-to-be-disclosed venue within the state capital.
Speaking during a joint planning meeting with church leaders in Calabar yesterday, the Cross River State CAN Chairman/PFN chairman Apostle Dr. Trinity Ogar, stated that the event was divinely orchestrated to bring revival, healing and salvation to the state and the South-South region at large.
Ogar said, “This is not just another program. We are expecting people from across Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and other neighboring countries. The fathers of faith have given their full backing and we are mobilizing every church.”
The PFN chairman in the state added that various committees have been set up to handle logistics, security, medicals, sanitation and accommodation, noting that partnering ministries have also commenced aggressive publicity and prayer mobilization across the 18 local government areas.
The President of Christ for All Nations, Evangelist Kolenda, is known for large-scale crusades across Africa. His last major outreach in Nigeria drew hundreds of thousands.
Organizers say that they expect this Calabar edition to be one of the biggest in the ministry’s history.
Government officials have also pledged support. A representative of the Cross River State government at the meeting assured that security agencies and relevant ministries will work with the church to ensure a hitch-free event, adding that the crusade will boost tourism and the local economy.
With preparations now in full swing, church leaders are calling on Christians in Cross River State and beyond to begin preparations to attend.
They said buses will be provided at designated centers to convey worshippers from different parts of the state to the crusade ground daily.
