The state chairman of the Cross River State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rt. Hon. Christopher Sunny Etta, and the State Executive Committee, SEC of the party has extended heartfelt congratulations to the governor of the state, His Excellency, Apostle Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on his appointment as the South-South Zonal Coordinator of the 2027 AapC Presidential Campaign Council.
In a statement by the state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Hon. Emmanuel Edem Inyang, the party expressed joy the call to service in the build up to the 2027 election.
The Cross River APC said, “This appointment reflects the confidence reposed in Governor Bassey Otu by the leadership of our great party and a recognition of his leadership capacity, political experience, strategic vision and tremendous influence within the South-South geopolitical zone.
“We are confident that our governor will bring his wealth of experience, administrative acumen, commitment and leadership to bear in coordinating the party’s campaign activities across the South-South zone.
“We therefore urge all APC members, supporters and stakeholders across Cross River State and the entire South-South zone to give His Excellency maximum support and cooperation as he undertakes this important national assignment.
